Something’s happening…it’s in the atmosphere. I can feel it, sense it, wanna chase after it. We just finished our AreYouAware series that focuses on social/local/global issues that plague our world. I can not begin to share how I feel right now.
Do you know what I think? I think we are onto something. I think we’ve hit a main ventricle in the heart of God that doesn’t get explored often.
So as a community, I implore us to keep moving. Something is stirring in all of our hearts that we did not know was there. Something has stirred in me that I want to surrender my life to. It’s so compelling and captivating to think that God could use us to be tangible solutions, an answered prayer, a hope and a dream fulfilled through our actions.
I don’t want this feeling to end. I want to just stop what I’m currently doing and figure out my contribution to this deep concern that keeps widening in my heart. My God, it’s all-consuming that in the midst of my short-comings, frustrations, and my career, I’m constantly reminded of a bigger and even heavier destiny that awaits me both collectively with you and individually with little me.
All I know is I want Justice. I want to let it ring, I want to sound the alarms, to raise awareness, lift my voice as loud as I can, do my part in both big and small ways. I will ask my Abba my next move, I’m so impulsive in that I want to resign NOW and go find this destiny that awaits me that involves the freeing of a lot of people. Lord where are they? Take me to them. I need to free them in your Name. But how, where, in what capacity? I will find this out.
Education? I know that’s a realm I’ll dominate. I’ll always remain loyal to the promotion of literacy and education as a means to reduce poverty, violence, and ill-mannered behaviors. I just feel there’s more, man there’s more. You need to release us Lord, this caged lioness and her cubs will claw their way out. The intensity is building.

Something is taking shape in the spiritual, that is pounding from the inside out, ready to burst…I feel the same way…I think we ought to begin the year in a collective fast and prayer to ask God what he wants from us, both individually and as a community…and as we pray, we must continue to engage in the service opportunities that we have…and seek for more ways to serve…
As for you, just get ready….God always surprises you with more than you expect …I will be right here, strawberries and all, to enjoy it, support you and lift you up when you need me…
I’m very excited, but as I read what I wrote yesterday, now overcome by this declaration.
I’ll do whatever, go where ever, all I ask is for God and community to go with me….
